Thanks Redge, I know that is how I would do it if I was making a normal single click exe and have done many times. Can someone tell me how I edit the helpdesk file in sc3.exe

I am trying to edit helpdesk.txt in the exe file but do not know how others are achieving this. I have tried using the 7zip file manager but it always refuses to let me save any changes to the archive that I have made.

How are other people doing this?

Yes it is perfectly possible to use a hostname instead of an ip address. It does not matter if it is a dynamicdns name or a a static name.
