I think the file compression is not working in the IPv6 version, because if i use my own vncviewer with compression, the vnc server dies. The UltraVNC viewer works, because it does not use compression either.
Or they use different compression than in non IPv6 version.

Sadly we have problem with latest version 1.2.4.0 32bit (with IPv6) on Windows 2008 Server 64 bit and Win10 64bit too.
When we send (or receive) a file from client to server, the connection is broken, this is in the log.

Is the file reception working on the server side in the latest IPv6 version? In my tests it does not.

We have a unicode VNC viewer what works with uvnc and x11vnc servers great.
But if we send a greek alpha char "α" with "a" key on keyboard
we get the right "α" on linux and macos but nothing on Windows, only a message in log:
"keysym 0x7e1ignoring unknown keysym 2017"

Usually we use a custom folder in //CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA = $0023; { All Users\Application Data }

If the winvnc,exe runs as app, it uses the APPDATA folder for creating the temp zip file and everything is working.
But if winvnc.exe runs as a service, it uses the c:\windows\temp dir, the zip is created,
but the vnc server says it's size is -1.
Maybe it can not read after compressing or the path ...

- the xp version works fine on XP,
- but all other exe (W7 and W8, and XP too) have problem with the folder sending on vnc server side on Win10.

It's ok why xp is not working, but on Win10 it should be working, not?
The folder putting is working but the folder getting is not working.

with this latest exe the compressed folder put/get is not working on XP,
and the folder get from remote server to viewer is not working on Win10.

The problem exists if you watch a video (for screen update) on remote computer and answer in chat.
Maybe the screen update and the chat messages are mixed.

There is maybe another bug: if the screen updating (youtube) or FileTransfer (get or put in minimized window) is active on remote screen and you do vnc chat on remote screen, it seems the data is not correctly mixed and the datastream decryption (zrle encription) is broken on viewer side. Maybe the zip functions not working on XP? (both server and viewer)
I tested other vncviewer (not ultravnc) and that worked on XP too.

In the earlier version the folder was recursively compressed and extracted.
It seems it is not working (send or receive too) if Windows XP is used on server or client side.
Maybe the compressing has problem or rights ?

Another test: (1.2.1.2) the ipv4 only version works good, but the ipv6 version drops the connection on ipv4 only network.
with older viewer (1.2.1.1). We used repeater mode 2 with ipv4 ip address 1.2.3.4

we test the vnc server xp_32_ipv6 version, it starts and works (we tested with ipv4 only yet), but it does not send good data when file transfer or chat used with SecureVNC dsm encryption (with old interface, old SecureVNCPlugin.dsm v1.0.2.0). Maybe the plugin extra msg type int missing?

You can download and use the Linux versions !

Install uvnc to different directory (not c:\program files\ultravnc).
winvnc -install does not install the service.
In ultravnc.ini path is c:\program files\uvnc
