Re: ChunkVNC - Free Windows and Mac Instant Support Tool!
i wasn't following the compile instructions correctly.
I changed the export server_host= to my server's ip
compiled everything and am good to go!
I don't really see the point of the seperate sever.txt file if one can compile the program with the IP build in.

Re: ChunkVNC - Free Windows and Mac Instant Support Tool!
thanks for zipping the file for me. I had a very odd expereince with it though. The email you sent includes a .dmg file, however when I download it to my windows computer is changes it to .zip. Then when i upload it, a mac user can't use it.

Re: ChunkVNC - Free Windows and Mac Instant Support Tool!

Re: ChunkVNC - Free Windows and Mac Instant Support Tool!
Does anyone have any experience with ChuckVNC's Mac server?
I would like to be able to support some mac users, the read me states it has only been tested on 10.4.10. Has anyone gotten it to work with snow leopard?
thanks!

Re: ChunkVNC - Free Windows and Mac Instant Support Tool!
Alright, so I got Chuck to work with a Linux (ubuntu) repeater on a VPS.
In terms of finaly configuration is there a way I can rename the title of the Single Click to something other than 'Instant Support'?

Re: ChunkVNC - Free Windows and Mac Instant Support Tool!
Just to clarify, i need to run the repeater on a computer back at the shop.
What about the no-ip updater? Should that be on the 'shop' computer too?
I have two laptops, as long as i load the same encryption key on both is there any reason I can't use one or the other without the end user knowing ...

SC on the road
So I have successfully gotten SC to work properly from my home network. I had to go onto my router's configuration and forward 5500 to my internal IP. Which I believe everyone needs to do.
So this works great when I am at home but, I travel a lot and will need to use this tool from the road. In ...
