Not sure I follow you -- the persistent UAC is by design (Microsoft's). Of course you're not going to be able to disable it without some kind of administrator rights...

#requireadmin allows the InstantSupport script to run as an administrator but the current way that InstantSupport executes the UltraVNC server won't allow you to control them.

Which is what I'm in the process of doing. I call it ChunkServer and it will allow me to pass much more information between InstantSupport and the Viewer. Hopefully in the future the code can be merged with the repeater itself but currently it's a separate executable.

In this time es very common to find very restrictive firewalls that does not allow inbout/outbound traffic apart HTTP, HTTPS, FTP... so we need a feature to solve this.

I don't think that RTechTool or ChunkVNC can do much more things without a new repeater, all features that I've added are just for better control in the server side (basically a log, assign names to connections, etc), but the client is very very limited. The repeater really does not works well in service mode, may be in some enviroments, but soon or later I allways have problems when running in W2003/2008 servers

At this point ChunkVNC and RTechTool are very similar, I don't know what's going to have 4.0, this can be a mod to give some ideas, or can be a new way to a different tool, not too much different because it's based on ChunkVNC, but who knows how it's going to finish.

There is a problem with localized Windows, you use the text "Windows Security Alert" to detect the firewall warnings but that text changes with every language, so in non-english systems the warning appears and must be closed manually.

The OnLine compiled version shows a message at the viewer when someone wants to connect, but this version does not, I think this must be a bug because is very important for the technician know who wants to be viewed, specially if the server is published in a public web page!!
