On some computers, right after I see the severs screen for about a second I get disconnected. On other computers (with Vista) it works.

What fixed it for me was to download and update to UltraVNC_1.0.4_Setup ...

waits for clients

Client goto http://ipdress:5800/client and login

Tech takes over clients PC !

Thats work ok.

But I want the client to enter a password, then once password has been entered it will store the password and autoreconnect.

can the server be connect automatically without the need to click the connect button?

once file tranfer has started how do you stop half way through?

Not saying logmein is better.....

just faster

sc has much better facility to connect to end user than logmein.
Just wish i could figure out how to speed it up.

strange thing is the response to the end user is fast.

i.e i click open word >> word open in a second on end user

Then a long delay to ...

tried vista machine and xp machine over WAN with connections as above.

Both extremely slow - logmein works fine but ultravnc sc is slow try all of the -quickconnect settings ?
