Ok... so maybe a Bigger Minimize button and a Smaller Close button ?
Or rename "Minimize" to "Close" and "Close" to "Quit" ?

Suggestions please ;)

If when the ft is minimized, and you hit the ft button it opens back up (not a new one or something) then, yes that sounds like a good fix.

It will save you alot of time eh..
Not to be rude, but wouldn't not misspelling the password be an even more effective way of saving time?

Yes, sounds like you have it under control. I like that trick you thought up. I dont think I would have done that, I would have gone to reading the dir and all files inside, making one list of dir's and one of files in each dir, creating the dirs on the other side, then with the lists of what file ...

I understand how that would be useful for some people, but I vote against it. I use dumeter ( D ownload/ U pload) and It has been the most reliable meter I have ever used. When set to instant (vs average) I can tell when .1 kbps are moving. It comes in a small window that I shrink to just larger ...

Ya, that would be nice.
If you searched around, you would find that this was talked about a few times, and the answer is no. Search if you want the reason.

A work around; just tell the user before blanking their monitor. Via chat or something.

No scroll-lock eh.
It would suck to do, but you could try opening up the keyboard that you can click on in windows, and use that one.. should be around the accessibility options or something like that.

i think the orginal poster wanted his start bar to be fixed, not the system tray part of it.
(i think that because he says hitting start shows it. therefor it shouldnt be the sys tray.)

... not that i have a fix for this problem. (just dont auto-hide ;p)

sounds like a pain, but doable. might have issues with getting vnc to auto transfer the file. i donno if the FT has a command line. might need to setup a ftp thingy or something. sorry not much help, but it sounds cool.

yeah, i couldnt get it to do that either. i dont think vnc is sending the alt-ps key combo. you might have to resort to finding a utility for the server to take screenshots.

some options instead of always changing your res would be;
change the server res to yours
use it in windowed mode
or use the scale feature, though id guess that looks bad.

What is wrong with running winvnc.exe as an application, with it set to not start when windows starts? Then you could just start and stop it, with w/e method you are using to install/uninstall.

If you turn on scroll lock, "special keys" like the windows key, alt-tab and others will be sent to the remote computer, instead of being acted upon by your computer.

Maybe that helps.

I'm thinking the 'default screen scale' could be put in normal props and the 'share this window only' might want to be put on the admin page.

I'm not sure what the 'share only' does, but it sounds like it would force the viewer to watch only one window, and that should be an admin only thing.

I'm ...

Titles and buttons.... picky is me.

Maybe cuz I'm dumb.. but the properties should have titles, and links to the other properties page.

Since the properties were split, I think they should have defining titles on the window that opens up, and a button to link to the other set of properties.

Also, maybe I'm being picky, but I feel ...

Im not sure if you changed this, but i connected to machine a) and then connected to machine b). then from a) to b) and then from b) to a) and then they continuously connected to each other.

It might be good to put in some sort of check, so that doesnt get out of hand in an accident. This was in ...
