sorry not to respond as lve been away..when l connect to server on the viewer eyerything works fine...connection opens traffic light is on and an infinite number of screens show up..should just one screen show or is the infinite loop normal ?l

Thanks for your input..lt is not vnc as l use that without problems..my quest is to determine how the connection is initiated from the remotebox? unlike vnc, pchelpware server has to be downloaded to the remote box from the viewer box... that is my understanding, from all of what l have read..Is ...

thanks for responding..yes the message is in the viewer..pretty simple network..dhcp from the router..l try to connect via firefox to the viewer address at 192.168.0.104:5500 and the error message comes up..l have tried with or without port forwarding with the same result..again thanks.

I have this persistent problem when l try to connect from inside my lan..The viewer is listening and shows 'encryption setup complete'..but 'Read failed' error message appears.. My units are all behind a wireless router and the viewer is cable connected to the router. Any guidance would be ...
