it been a while since i last tinkered with VNC and i wanted to update the server version in SCPrompt2020 (even though the version i am using in it appears to work ok), just to stay current, but when i look at the server install, there are quite a lot more DLL's than i remember ...
After more 1 000 000 (one million) views on forum for 1.5.0.x development versions... and 1.6.0.0 version

one more thing, all versions of scprompt actually contain the source code as a resource. it adds a little bit of size to the exe, but nothing major.

x11vnc is a great vnc server ... allows massive amounts of customisation, but steep learning curve to get it running ...
also, vnc2me can be used from a windows machine to connect to and from a linux box, as the session code is just a forwarded port number ... so you cane setup x11vnc to connect to ...

I want the uvnc server and scprompt to close after I disconnect the session. This can be done easily, by editing the scprompt.ini and changing the following: UseSC_Server=1
ServiceMode=1
To Look like this: UseSC_Server=0
ServiceMode=0
But be warned, this will then take away most of the features ...

According to the changelog single click is now using a new capture engine which should be even able to work with Aero.
Is it possible to use this advancement in ScPrompt? Probably only the vncserver.exe has to be updated if it is integrated there already too.

it seems the problem is that the domain account has the same username as my local admin account As SCPrompt just checks to see what username your using & if it has local admin rights ... then that well explains it ...

I meant that the icon of the 7zip executable has a small shield added indicating admin rights are needed to run it. The NSIS executable does not have such a small shield so it executes all self extracting zip files require administrator rights in 7 ... that's why I looked at NSIS.

I have built the latest scprompt with nsis and the executable itself no longer has a shield. Not sure what you mean by this, please explain further if possible It extracts the files and creates desktop icons, but then scprompt.exe itself wants admin rights. I know service mode probably requires ...
