VNCViewer for Android supporting "SecureVNCplugin", please?
There are quite a lot of VNC viewers around for Android devices, but none of them is supporting the SecureVNCplugin for UltraVNC.
Does anybody know, where to find such a VNC viewer?
I know, I could use one of those viewers after disabling the plugin in the UVNC server, but regarding security, that ...

Desktop icons don't snap to grid after starting UVNC session
While in an UVNC session, I always have to check the option "Snap to grid" manually (for the desktop icons) in the context menu of the desktop of the remote machine, because that option is unchecked after I started an UVNC session, even after making sure it was checked right before I started the ...

Re: File transfer extreeeemly slow
I tried maxCPU=20 and got a speed of about 700 kbits/s.
Then I tried maxCPU=40 and maxCPU=10 and then maxCPU=20 again.
I set 40, 10 and the second 20 within the VNC window, sitting at my netbook but I reconnected after each setting.
But I didn´t geht over 37 kbits/s anymore.

File transfer extreeeemly slow
I´m running UVNC 1.0.9.5 (server and viewer) on a desktop computer and on a netbook (viewer only).
Both of them are XP Home SP3 systems and they are connected to the same wireless home network.
So, the UVNC connection between these two is wireless, too, of course.

OK, now I see. Thank you!
As for the plugin, do you recommend this SecureVNC-Plugin or do you prefer another one?

Re: Where is the file transfer feature in 1.0.9.5?
First of all, sorry for my delay. I´ve been busy on troubleshooting. ;)
Happily, I´m able to say:
The problem is solved.
The encryption plugin I´ve been using was too old, obviously.
I switched over to SecureVNC-Plugin.
Now, UVNC works again and finally the missing button is there, too.

Re: Where is the file transfer feature in 1.0.9.5?
I tried both of these ways to install UVNC.
Still, I´ve never had a message like this.
1.0.9.5 is the first one I see something like this.
It´s not just that the file transfer doesn´t work.
It doesn´t appear at all.
I mean, there´s no button, where it´s supposed to be in the icon bar.

Re: Where is the file transfer feature in 1.0.9.5?
I´m not sure, if this is a matter of the used firewall.
You see, I had several UVNC updates before and I´ve never experienced this kind of effect until I tried 1.0.9.5.

Re: Where is the file transfer feature in 1.0.9.5?
No, I don´t use a special firewall.
It´s simply the build-in firewall of XP.
I guess, the only thing I could do, is to delete the winvnc entry, there, and after reinstalling 1.0.9.5, wait for the firewall to ask me to allow UltraVNC, to have a new firewall entry created for this UltraVNC version ...

Re: Where is the file transfer feature in 1.0.9.5?
Sorry, I must be more accurate, obviously.
I´ve never been asked for the password after the connection was established, I was asked after the delay, but before I was connected.
I´ll be back after I checked the zip you pointed me to... :)
EDIT:
Now, I checked the new files.

I just repeated the whole installation.

Sorry, even then, I didn´t get this feature.
The only working solution was to go back to the older version.

Where is the file transfer feature in 1.0.9.5?
I just downgraded to 1.0.8.2, because I can´t find any file transfer feature in 1.0.9.5.
What happened to this feature in 1.0.9.5, please?
Btw., I´m on XP Home SP3.

Where do I send translated xls files to, please?
Since I translated the xls files for both the server and the viewer into german, I wonder where I can send these files to,
to have them converted into something UltraVNC can deal with?
EDIT:
