Hello,
Does SC will be updated with the latest UVNC version 1.1.8 ?
Currently, we are using SC 1.1.0.0 (I think, it's in the details of winvnc.exe), but we are facing lots of issues with Win7/8 or IE 9 (image freeze for 20seconds frequently). So I'm looking to update our SC.
Or maybe a way to do ...

Re: repeater 2011
There have been mixed reports in the past about running the Windows version as a service; several people have chosen to run the Linux ports instead... scheduling a regular restart of the Windows service might also help.
Other people just run it in application mode instead. I've had the 1.0.8 ...

Re: repeater 2011
Hello,
I'm using the new repeater 2011 (version of 7 Mai 2011), but it seems that as soon as I access the Webserver, distributeur.exe take 100% of the cpu ?
It's on a Win2008R2 x64 server.

PcHelpware on Vista Aero : quite slow
Hi,
I'm testing PCHelpware to see how it's running with a Vista computer with Aero. I don't wan't to install the video drivers.
It seems that it's quite slow. Not as slow as ultravnc 1.04, but a bit annoying for remote support. Do I miss something ?

Yeap that's it, but if the repeater is on your LAN it's not really a problem.

Re: Using repeater on the internet (not DMZ)
Well, so for support Repeater is I think the best solution (I use it
).
So you will have to install repeater on your server, configure your router to redirect the 5500 TCP port, and configure the Repeater to use only mode 2.
That's all !

I'll try to answer to your questions, but as I'm french my english is not really perfect :P

Are you able tu use UVNC repeater with the phw dll ? normally it's not possible as Rudi made it from scratch, it's not compatible with any *VNC (viewer, server and repeater).

Re: custom viewer
If you are a developper you could then use the 1SCVDLL.dll and make your own application.
It's quite easy, as the only thing you have to do is calling the Start_viewer method for this DLL, giving your own paramater (repeater URL, port, ID, password....).

Re: 1scdll implementation
Have you test the server on a Vista computer ? I have some display bug with it (Vista business). I think it's due to the graphic driver no (i don't talking about the driver given with phw, but with the manufacturer driver)? Well it's alway better than UVNC 1.2 that don't work at all on my vista ...

Okay I think I found the official way to change the icon, in fact you just need to simply put icon1.ico & icon2.ico on the same folder than the DLL

Re: 1scdll implementation
Thank you, you have a signature for start_server that i didn't know. I'll test the last bool paramater, and it seems that it control the comportment of the start_server : when set to true, the call is a blocking call, false it's a non blocking call.
