Certificate outdated
Hi, I just noticed that when I use the JV to login to my UVNC server, the first message I get is telling me that the certificate is valid only until feb. 2008. Is there a way to get a newer certificate, as the outdated certificate has to be approved on every PC/browser that's used to long. Thank you ...

*Do we maintain compatibility ? *Realvnc 4.0 base ? Best parts of code are in the enterprise version.. IMO it would be desirable to keep compatibility as long as possible I'm not familiar with the underlying protocols, but isn't it e.g. possible to introduce some new flags, opcodes or similar for ...

Actually what scovel is saying (at least I assume that) is that, no matter what news Longhorn brings to graphics rendering, it really won't affect UVNC. UVNC doesn't do any rendering, it just takes the already processed video data of the remote machine "just before it is sent to the monitor" (very ...

Some remaining grammar issues...
I just noticed that there are some diffs between my local (changed) sources and CVS whose purpose I was not aware of, and found out that there are some typos in CVS that I apparently fixed locally some time ago :P It's in \winvnc\winvncsc\videodrivercheck.cpp line 213 ff ('Driver EXIST', 'Driver ...

Instead of thinking about all those bugfixes (who cares if the server crashes sometimes, one can set it as service with automatic restart) I think that the developers should think even about changing the interface... You're kidding, aren't you ? Seriously, I also like those suggestions, but as UVNC ...

TightVNC have this feature pop up help hints. UltraVNC one day but make bigger size application ? Well, yes, surely it would increase the size of the app, but who actually cares? We are talking about a few hundred kb (even MB wouldn't matter) in a time where almost every up-to-date cell phone has ...

As expected, the client disconnected part way through the install. Somewhat unexpectedly the Setup locked up on the Server end too, leaving an empty "Setup" window on the desktop. A subsequent reinstall without VNC connected cleaned everything up. I've had the same problem many times, and it was ...

Re: Configuration button crash server
If you connect using DSMPlugin 1.1.5 on the VNC viewer, to a VNC server using DSMPlugin 1.1.4, open Admin Properties, choose DSMPlugin 1.1.5 and hit the Configuration button, the VNC server crash, sometimes crashing the W2K also. If you open Admin Properties locally, everything works just fine. I ...

FT: show transfer speed
Well, the topic says it: IMO it would be nice to have the current (and maybe also average) file transfer speed displayed somewhere in the file transfer window.
