Same problem here!
Under Windows XP my password is saved.
Under Windows 7 my password IS NOT saved.

Very annoying and I hope there is a solution for this problem under Windows 7.

third zip file manager unzip file and leave as is.
Maybe try 7-zip 4.47 beta for better compatibility with new OS and service pack

1. Right click on icon in systray shows the new option "Show log", but when I click on this option, the log window doesn't show.


The info window now has a hide button.
show log == show info
After you hide the info window, you can bring it back with the show..

1SCDLL updates

1) Password field need an extra border to make it clear it's part
of the connection part and not a password for secure saving the
viewer profile
2) Auto save profile when you create driver, this also avoid the password
issue
3) Replace close Info window by hide and added show in ...
